Our
Accreditations.
Precursor Security holds industry-leading certifications that validate our technical expertise, operational security, and commitment to quality. Every accreditation is independently audited.
Independently
Verified.
Every accreditation below is assessed by an independent third party. None are self-declared. Each carries annual audit obligations and re-certification requirements that maintain the standard year on year.
CREST Penetration Testing
Accredited by the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers, the primary not-for-profit accreditation body for the UK cyber security industry. All consultants hold individual CREST qualifications and the company undergoes annual audit. Required by NCSC CHECK, GovAssure, and most regulated-industry procurement frameworks. Verifiable on the CREST member directory.
CREST SOC Accreditation
One of fewer than 70 organisations globally that hold both SOC and Penetration Testing accreditation. Validates 24/7 SOC capability, analyst qualifications, threat detection processes, and incident response procedures. Achieved within six months of SOC launch.
Cyber Essentials Certification Body
IASME-accredited Certification Body authorised to assess and issue Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certificates. Results submitted directly to the NCSC register.
ISO 27001:2022
UKAS-accredited certification for Information Security Management Systems. Demonstrates a systematic, independently audited approach to managing sensitive information across risk assessment, security controls, and continuous improvement. Annual surveillance audits maintain the standard with a full recertification cycle.
Crown Commercial Service Supplier
G-Cloud 14 framework supplier, pre-approved for procurement by UK public sector organisations including central government departments, NHS trusts, and local authorities. Services listed on the Digital Marketplace with transparent fixed pricing, no full tender required, significantly reducing procurement timelines for public sector clients.
CREST Vulnerability Assessment
CREST-accredited to conduct vulnerability assessments across network, cloud, and application environments. Results are delivered live via the client portal as findings are identified, with retesting included within the assessment window.
ISO 9001:2015
UKAS-accredited Quality Management System certification. Demonstrates consistent, process-driven service delivery meeting customer and regulatory requirements, with annual surveillance and continuous improvement obligations.
Beyond the
Badge.
Accreditations are not vanity metrics. They are the mechanism by which clients, auditors, and regulators validate a supplier before awarding a contract, independently verified proof of operational capability.
Third-Party Verified, Every Year
Every accreditation requires an independent assessment by an approved body (CREST, UKAS, or IASME) who validate our processes, personnel qualifications, and technical capabilities. Annual re-audit obligations mean the standard is maintained continuously, not achieved once and forgotten. When an auditor or procurement team checks our credentials, they find a live, verifiable record on the relevant public register.
No Lengthy Vendor Questionnaires
Our certifications satisfy due diligence requirements for enterprise, public sector, and regulated industry procurement. CREST and ISO accreditations are the proof of qualification most procurement teams require, bypassing lengthy vendor risk questionnaires and accelerating contract award.
Accreditation Is Not a One-Time Event
Annual audits, surveillance visits, and recertification cycles ensure Precursor Security maintains and improves its standards year on year. Each renewal demonstrates that operational practices, consultant qualifications, and security controls continue to meet the bar, not just that they did once.
